Meet The Herd

Our very first rescue in 2010

Secunda means "second chance" in Afrikaans, we rescued her from a bad situation in Phoenix. She is a shear footed and dependable!

Now 12 years old Nosara came to us when she was 3. Off the track Thoroughbred she has become an incredible trail horse.  Can be a little high spirited at times.

Our oldest horse at 26 years old.

Demi is a Thoroughbred that loves to get out on trail. She has a heart of gold and loves kids!

8 year old off the track Thoroughbred, Tux is learning how to become a trail horse. He wants to please and gaining confidence with every ride. 

11 year old quarter horse.

 Sara has been with us for 3 years. She is an excellent horse and fun to ride! 

17 year old Arab/Walker cross.

Sierra will do whatever is asked of her. 

She is responsive and loves to go out.

14 year old Quarter Horse. 

An ex-reigning horse, Scout is fun to ride. One of the first at the gate to come out and work.

21 year old Arab/Quarter Horse cross.

Trooper has been there done that!

He was quite the handful in his early years but as he is getting older he loves the kids.

13 year old off the track Thoroughbred. Freckles is sweet and wanting to please. She gets better and better with each ride.

19 years old Walker

 Jack is super sweet and is always ready to go. He can be a bit stubborn at times.  

We estimate this character is 16 to 17 years old. Apendix (Quarter Horse/Thoroughbred Cross) Jake is always entertaining. Smooth ride, but will take advantage when he can.

This cute little Arab has become an amazing kids horse. She is smart and always ready to go.

Handsome Boy, Still a work in progress. Fearless, just likes to go a bit too much.

Outlaw is Truly an amazing horse not ready for trail yet . 

17 years old Quarter Horse,

Pepe is great, he takes great care of all riders  young & old!

4 year old Quarter Horse.

Royal had a significate injury to her leg that will probably never allow her to be ridden. She is Pregnant with her first foal.

8 year old Red Roan. 

Sophia has scarring across her back from some old injury. She can support light riders in the arena.

She is pregnant with her 2 foal

24 years old Thoroughbred.

Kosmo has a tumor on his neck, He will live is life here on the ranch.
